I've long poked fun at my kid, and his voracious appetite.
Whether he's training for the Mexican Food Olympics, or just bein' my Basmati Rice, Rice Baby, Aksel exhibits passion and true food zeal.
It's impressive! Like most kiddos though he likes the classics:
And, TIRAMISU!

Pizza...
And, TIRAMISU!
But, where Aksel differs is what fascinates me most. For instance, my boy LOVES parsnip soup, edamame, and of all things, TOFU!
Basically, he'll devour anything you put in front of him, and persistently slap the table for more, more, and still more.
It cracks me up!
On a serious note though, I'm enjoying Aksel's open (FOOD) mind, while I still can. Who knows if and when it'll change? Not to mention, his open mouth is pretty darn cute, too. Case in point...
He's a cutie! My little man used to eat everything I put in front of him, but, no more. I tried tofu recently and that went over like a ton of bricks. So far, he doesn't like pizza or ice cream either. I'm sure that will change though!

He is just Adorable! I think his love of food will stay. Maybe it will have minor changes as he discovers new food though. I have two daughters, both adults now, and they were total opposites about everything including food. One would eat any veggie I gave her amd didn't like the chewiness of beef while the other devoured all meats and would not eat anything that was green...literally!
ReplyDeleteTo this day the veggie eater still loves all veggies and the other still wont eat green foods other than green beans, lol.
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog. I am now your newest follower too!

OMG this is so cute. And I don't know how I missed the restaurant page the first time I visited your blog! It looks amazing. I have always wanted to own a restaurant like yours.
ReplyDeleteLol. I love your post, and your pics are adorable. My 4 year old daughter is EXTREMELY picky, and I cannot wait for her to get out of this stage. Now my son will eat just about anything I'm eating. Just don't give him "food made for toddlers" because he'll refuse it; he wants the real deal.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for visiting and commenting on my blog! I really enjoy yours!

The photos are insane. Like they could have been staged..... SO CUTE!!!
ReplyDeleteAs for food: my parents never even offered the option of not "liking" something, we ate what we were given (and my parents eat and serve the unusual on the usual). As a result we were never really picky as kids....
fingers crossed I get that lucky with my future children!
Great Kids! Thanks for following! I'm following back!
