Before Cinco de Mayo ends, here's a fitting post flashback...
I live for Mexican food. My husband, on the other hand, does not! Every 10-12 days however, he concedes and gives in to my craving. Today, was one such afternoon.
Why am I writing about burritos, you might ask?
Well...
I've failed to mention that my child is showing something of a proclivity for Mexican food, too. Seven teeth strong, he can do some rice and beans damage!
Take this afternoon for example. Outfitted in a gray

tracksuit, strikingly similar to those worn in The Royal Tenenbaums
, Aksel grunted and moaned for more rice, beans, and guacamole. At one point, as he swiveled his wide open mouth to and from my husband and me, I thought... "He's training for the Mexican Food Olympics®!"
"Could it be genetic?" I wondered.
Was it the unusual amount of shredded chicken quesadillas I ate while pregnant? Who knows? I surely can't say!
Whatever the cause, it's my hunch daddy's gonna have his hands doubly full with Mexican food wants and wishes. Look out, honey! Our child's training for a few choice MFO events:

The husband may not be huge on Mexican food, but the staff sure looks forward to those trips to North Charleston, with hopes of La Nortegna bags stuffed full of real tacos under his arms. Once Aksel starts talking, I believe we should name him ambassador to other ethnic restaurants.

It's opposite in my house...Mexican food isn't my favorite, while my husband puts everything inside a tortilla. New follower from the crazed fan blog hop.
