- Since the awkward years of girlhood, I've been scribbling it all down. Yet, my desire to write and tell a story truly intensified after the birth of my first child, Aksel. (Who was diagnosed with autism at 20-months-old.) With the support of an understanding husband, two boys, and a dog-like cat, I'm conversing with the world about life, love, and the mommy lessons along the way. Oh, and my experiences raising a special-needs child, too. Expect a lot of baby talk without the babble.

Following you back from the hop. This picture is just adorable and that doesn't even do it justice. Someone told me to enjoy every moment because the time would fly and I admit it has. Gwen turned 3 last month and I wonder where my baby went. But she'll always be my baby.
