Gillian and Lillian x 2.

I feel utterly moved by so much in my life.  Motherhood has truly inspired me.  With a headful of ideas, I'm having to center myself and breathe... I'm just so excited!

I'll explain...

I've always wanted to help people, to do something of note with my life, and until recently, I've struggled with just what my purpose is? (Aside from mothering my most precious gift, Aksel!)

Well, today, it all became clear.  I've been itching on a realization for quite some time now, and I've finally made it! 

If you're wondering, I haven't floundered for lack of motivation or ideas or talent.  I'm a hungry person by nature, in both a literal and figurative sense.  The problem I've had, boils down to focus.

As a person, I am intrinsically interested in so much:  singing, writing, interior design, photography, vinology, fashion, food, travel, philanthropy, event planning.  Basically, I live and love to create!

A hedonist if there ever was one, what I've lacked is culmination.  For so long, I've needed an outlet to express myself, and my many interests.

(Here it is, ladies and gentleman, the statement you've been waiting to read this whole time...  What can I say?  Brevity's never been my strong suit!)

This blog IS my purpose!

I can WRITE about everything I love!  I can promote products I believe in, and use on a daily basis.  I can utilize my voice to bring attention to organizations that move me, as both a mother and concerned individual.  For the most part, I can struggle out loud, and be heard!  In turn, I feel empowered like never before!

So, it's my plan to hit the cyber-streets, and pound the MOMMY pavement.  I need your help though... 

At this point, I would like to expand my blog readership.  To do so, I need your assistance.  If you find interest in what I write, please share my link with friends, and mommies, far and wide.

No, you did not read wrong!  Who' da thunk it?  Two Lillian's, within two weeks, within one restaurant (more on that later).
